Vintage / Antique? Finished Needlepoint - Victorian Lovers - On velvet mat.

Up for auction is a vintage or perhaps antique? (unsure) Victorian scene needlepoint work mounted on a velvet board.
-I honestly don't know much about this and it was purchased as part of an auction lot. It really caught my eye due to the vintage Victorian classic lovers scene and the and the matting board that has the classic velvet look and feel.  I have put it up for auction to let the people who know much more about this decide.
-I have no idea of the exact age but it came from a auction that did have a large collection of antiques.
-The entire work measures: 12-5/8" across and is 17-1/8" tall across the matting.
-The actual needlepoint work measures: 9-3/8" across and 13-3/4" tall. (At the widest and tallest points.)
-This is already mounted on the matting and could easily be slipped into a frame and displayed again.  It appears that somewhere along the line someone attempted to remove the back board from it but probably stopped so they didn't destroy the work.  The back board is rather fragile but by lifting up one edge you can see that the work was mounted on the matting and the needlepoint is the same oval shape of the matting opening.
-The work itself is not glued or mounted to the backer board. It desired, it could be removed.
-I am not a needlepoint expert, but I don't see any type of flaw or snag in the work itself.
-This will be carefully shipped with protective material on the front and back and sandwiched in between two light boards to protect it before being boxed up.
