    1&This Chinese sword JIAN (剑) is hand forged and hand sharpened using old Chinese methods to create a perfect blade. Fully functional and battle ready. The accessories of the sword are all authentic. This is the best Chinese sword you will find in the price range.
    The Way Of Forge:
    2&Blade: The blade of the sword has been hand forged using the ancient method of sword making. Full hand forged, hand polished and hand sharpened.
    3&The blade was made of folded steel. AISI 1060 High Carbon Steel are folded 10 times creating 1024 layers for superior strength and flexibility. the visible tenuous undulating grain on the blade was resulted from folded repeatedly during forging.
    4&The double edges of this blade was also clay tempered, you can see the beautiful natural hamon on the both edges. this made the edges very hard.
    5&This blade comes with a full length Tang which greatly enhances the strength of the sword. this sword is strong enough to cut through a thick bamboo tree with a single strike yet sharp enough to slice paper.
    NOTE:Mounting: the fittings on this sword are made of brass, and they are full hand made, the quality is very great!!!
