Pair of Vintage Southern Belle Needlepoint Pictures in original frames

Description

This auction is for a pair of vintage needlepoint pictures of a man and women.  They look like "courting" pictures.  The needlepoints are 5 1/2" x 7 1/2" and the frames are 8 1/2" x 10 1/4".  The needlepoints are quite nice.  I don't see any damage on them.  They were professionally framed.  The frames are nice and in good condition, but the mattes need to be replaced.  You could have them reframed using the original frames.  With new mattes they would look quite lovely.  I estimate that these are from the 1940s as my grandmother had similar needlepoints from the same era.
