Description:
Antiviral agent for external use. It has a virulicidal effect on the influenza virus in direct contact with virus-containing material, prevents the reproduction of the virus in cells.
In the dosage forms used, when applied to the skin (intact or scarified), the ointment and on the mucous membranes does not have a resorptive toxic and locally irritating effect.
Indications:
For external use: treatment of warts (common, flat and pointed warts).
For nasal use: prevention of influenza, treatment of viral rhinitis.
Dosage regimen:
For the prevention of influenza - lubricate the nasal mucosa 2-3 times a day during the rise and maximum development of an epidemic outbreak of influenza (for 25 days) or in contact with a patient with influenza.
Treatment of viral rhinitis: the nasal mucosa is lubricated 2-3 times a day for 3-4 days.
Contraindications:
Pregnancy, breastfeeding, children under 2 years of age.
