1&The balde was made of folded Damascus steel in Maru structure smelted and pounded to fold 13 times to creat 8192 layers,Not only can remove the remain impurities of the carbon steel and better distribute the carbon to form the blank,But also allow the layers to bend at rates,it was Fully hand forged,hand shaping,hand polishing in the most traditional method of sword making.
2&Bo-hi (blood groove) is added to each side of the blade,lighten the blade ,also balance it to achieve optimal performance.
3&The blade comes with a full length Tang greatly enhances the strength of the sword while swung .
NOTE:
(1)  A silk sword bag comes with the sword. but the wooden stand  in below item pictures is NOT included.

(3) This Katana can be taken apart fully anytime for  maintenance purposes, you can disassemble the sword from the  handle by taking out two pegs.
