Description

A mechanical propelling pencil in the form of a Pharaoh’s Sarcophagus, in this case King Tut’s Tomb. This pencil is a little finer than most. You can see the muscles on the front and back of his chest. The heavy gilding is a soft gold and the enamel is very fine. This looks more like a piece of jewelry than a pencil, can be worn on a chain. Circa 1920.
The propelling pencil works perfect and extends out of the base when you pull down at the base.
Very good condition to the gilding and enamel. Looks as though the pencil has lived most of its life in the original cardboard box. I have never seen these with boxes before. K. P.
