Musicians have long been known to use actual tool sockets for playing because of the superior grip provided by the interior 12-star grip. Better grip, more precise slide. But, actual sockets are unbalanced being heavier on one end. Clayton has corrected this feature by equalizing the weight. You now have consistent balance, weight and tone!
