This was a custom-made Gibson grabber bass Mike was given one and Dennis Rodman was also given one that day.
I ended up getting the bass from Mike about a year and a half before he died and there is also video footage of Mike playing the bass on YouTube. if you look Mike Starr’s new bass you’ll see the video of Mike playing the space at the celebrity rehab concert with Ace Frehley of Kiss onstage.
It’s a cool bass I like the interchangeable pick up the way you are able to slide it back-and-forth that’s very unique.
I think that this is better than the 1970s version Gibson made.
Black satin finish it’s in excellent condition comes with original case and everything seen in the photos along with a bunch of photos of Mike on Sober house with this bass.

Please do not ask me to lower the price on this bass guitar and all these other items that come along with it!!
This is a very sentimental item to me that was owned by my best friend and bandmate and to sell it at any price is heartbreaking to me’
so I’m not going to lower the price as a matter fact I’ve actually thought about raising it!
